Chipmunk FLEX Tether with Accessory Karabiner 

The Chipmunk FLEX Tether is a shorter tether option that reduces the overall height of an SRT climbing system.

Measuring 9 inches, the Chipmunk FLEX is 3 inches shorter than the original Squirrel FLEX Tether, allowing climbers to build a more compact system. Reducing system height increases reach space above the system, supporting longer arm strides and improved efficiency during ascent.

Design and construction

Like the Squirrel FLEX, the Chipmunk FLEX is constructed from high-quality, durable rope with an advanced polymer overmould, creating a highly rigid tether with controlled flexibility.

The shorter tether length supports a compact system layout while retaining the stiffness required for consistent performance.

Connection and compatibility

The Chipmunk FLEX features sewn eyes that provide a snug fit, holding the karabiner firmly in place and maintaining system stiffness.

A central connection point allows the tether to be connected to a chest harness. This product is supplied with an ISC Straight Gate Accessory Karabiner for this purpose.

The Chipmunk FLEX Tether is designed to be used as an accessory with compatible mechanical devices, including the ISC MH285 REFLEX Mechanical Hitch. The tether is supplied separately.
