Have you ever been hooked by a sprag on your Wood Chippers wire cable winch line? How about the damage that will be done to your chipper if a wire cable winch line gets dragged in? And we all know the danger of a wire cable rope breaking under load. Look out for the recoil!!! HERE IS THE ANSWER!! Yale Vectrus is a single braided rope of 100% Vectran (LCP, Liquid Crystal Polymer) with a maxijacket coating. As strong as steel this fibre will not develop sprags, will not damage the inside of you machine anywhere near as severley if it gets dragged in, and because Vectran has no stretch, it will not recoil if it breaks under load. Vectran has an extremely high critical temperature (approx 320 degree C) which makes it ideal for use on either hydaulic or electric winches unlike Spectra or Plasma lines which are not suitable for electric winches due to their low melt points. Vectrus can be HAND SPLICED BY AN ATRAES FACTORY TRAINED AND CERTIFIED SPLICER so we can customize the winch cable to your own machines specifications. Tensile Strength: 4,700kg
