DBI-SALA’s range of pole straps are designed for work positioning, restraint and assisted climbing. They are extensively used within the utilities industries for climbing electricity and
telecommunications poles under restraint. Our wire core series are also popular in the arbour industry for use whilst trimming trees at heights.

The main component of the device is a length of high strength webbing or wire core rope with a hook at either end. The pole straps are adjustable down to approximately one metre in length by one of many styles of adjusters, even whilst working.

DBI-SALA’s pole straps are manufactured in a wide range to suit your specific needs and applications. They are available in a variety of lengths with a number of different hook and adjuster options to suit various work situations, and are constructed from either webbing or wire core rope.

Note: Pole straps are to be used for restraint only; they should always be kept under tension. They must never be used as a lanyard for fall arrest protection.
